The Old Kernel Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Ironclad Distillery is a unique and robust bourbon made from heirloom Indian corn grown on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This small-batch bourbon is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) and is Bottled-in-Bond, meaning it has been aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse. The bourbon offers a flavor profile with notes of dark cherry syrup, caramel, sweet corn, and honey-butter cornbread, along with a hint of rye spice and a maple syrup finish.
