Kentucky Owl was founded by Charles Mortimer Dedman, a local pharmacist, in 1879.
Like most distiller's during that time, Kentucky Owl achieved much success but production was halted during Prohibition.

Leaving approximately 250,000 gallons of bourbon left unattended in various stages of aging. Today, these reserves would be worth about $40 million in inventory.

Kentucky Owl 10-Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Batch #3 features citrus and oak on the nose. The combination of barrel sweetness, and nuts that coat the palate before evolving into a finish spicy finish.

Notes: Smooth, medium-bodied. Aromas and flavors of citrus, oak, vanilla, spice, toffee and hazelnut.
