Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon traces its roots back to 1881 when Albert Bacon Blanton, born into one of bourbon's first families, began his journey in the whiskey industry. By 1921, he had become the president of what is now Buffalo Trace Distillery. In 1984, Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee created Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon, the first commercially sold single-barrel bourbon. This whiskey is known for its meticulous craftsmanship, aged in Warehouse H, which provides an optimal environment for aging, resulting in a unique and superior bourbon.
