The grapes come mostly from old vineyards with low yields, located high on the hillsides, 700-1000 meters above sea level. The vineyards are planted in mainly decomposed slate and gravely clay soils. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks and then spent two months in French oak barrels. This wine exhibits great aromatic complexity, richness and mineralality. Blueberry notes lead to a savory and spicy wine that is nicely balanced and very easy to drink. Pairs well with rice, pasta (noodles, spaghetti, macaroni), fish, goat cheese, cold meat, vegetables, lentil soup, peas, mushrooms, red and white meat.
